Wilfrid Laurier University
Wilfrid Laurier University is located in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, and its Writing Centre began in 1997. Since its inception, the Writing Centre team of professional and student employees has worked with students, staff, and faculty across campus to develop their writing skills.
The Writing Centre program at Laurier provides individual and in-class writing support for undergraduate and graduate students to help them enhance their academic writing. The Centre supports the writing that goes on in the classroom in a way that helps students and faculty achieve their academic goals.
Finally, the staff at Laurier’s Writing Centre is committed to conducting research on academic writing so as to inform programming and services and to contribute to the broader field of writing studies.
